THE BENEFITS OF HVAC PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

HVAC preventative maintenance contracts allow you to plan and budget for your HVAC system, instead of waiting for it to break down and paying large sums for major repairs. With a maintenance contract in place, you will know which tasks the technician will perform during a maintenance visit and you can pay a monthly fee for these services. This reduces your energy costs in the long run, since your system will run more efficiently and you won’t have to pay for major repairs very often.

Reactive Maintenance

  • We perform this type of maintenance when and only when we encounter a problem. Perhaps something breaks, begins to make a loud noise or smell bad, or there’s strange smoke coming from an unknown source. Maybe the item in question has stopped working with no explanation. When something goes wrong, we use this type of maintenance to uncover the problem and address it, getting the system back in working order as soon as possible.

Preventative Maintenance

  • This type of maintenance is designed to eliminate or reduce the need for reactive maintenance. While reactive maintenance reacts to a problem, preventive maintenance is there to keep the system clean, effective and running smoothly. By performing preventive maintenance regularly, we can prevent many problems that would eventually require reactive maintenance. Even if issues do still occur, they’ll often be much cheaper to fix because you’ll notice them earlier.
